The development of orgment.com, a corporate portal providing businesses with multimedia information regarding core elements of growing, innovating and evolving digital businesses, and the group’s associated services. The web application was developed using the Joomla content management system, incorporating a range of bespoke functions including video, send to email, print, world clock and search.
Tom's Guide Publishing (now part of Best of Media)
The development of Tom’s business model / services incorporating the redesign and development of the group’s core multimedia portal (tomshardware.com) to increase unique visitors (>10m) and impressions per month (>100m). In addition, the design and development of new linked portals / services covering mobile, home electronics, networking, gaming and news sectors. Developed using Perl with bespoke content management system and MySQL.
Kalvans
Design and development of kalvans.com, a new shopping site providing latest clothing fashion, incorporating multiple channels, Search, Login for personalization and a fully featured shopping cart. The site was developed using Ruby and Ruby on Rails in conjunction with MySQL database.
TG Daily
Design and development of tgdaily.com, a news portal providing informative and entertaining commentary on science, technology and lifestyle.
Incorporating dynamic content association (tagging) to provide the visitors with a more intuitive and richer experience, and therein to
increase visitor traffic and site stickiness. Also the development of mobile applications for iPhone and Android to extend and improve the
service for mobile devices. Developed using Python, PHP, Drupal and MySQL.
